Summer Travel with Willow Ridge

This is a very busy time at Willow Ridge. Even though the calendar says that summer arrives next week, here in Catalog Land we are living in many seasons. We are currently shooting our new winter catalog that will arrive in your mailbox in October. Yes, we have found some fabulous new items that will make your holiday entertaining sparkle.

As for me, Barb, this week I am off to New York City to shop for new spring fashions for next year. Can you believe it? I am personally still buying my new clothes for this summer.

Travel used to be a stressful time for me. What to wear? Is my carry-on bag too large? What's the weather like?  Not to worry- I have found my go-to travel outfit at Willow Ridge.

The easy, breezy crinkled cotton separates are a must-have. They are 100% cotton, machine washable, and they never need ironing. The roll-tab tunic doubles as a jacket. I layer it over the sleeveless tank. Now I never have to worry about being too hot or too cold.

When I travel, it's all about ease. I love the coordinating gauze pant. The all-around elastic waist pant with a functional drawstring makes this the most comfortable pant you will own. It's great for sitting on the plane all day. The pant has two side-seam pockets so I never lose my keys.

My friends tell me that I am a clothes horse and that I even pack to go on a guilt trip. I am also known to over-pack when I travel. Over the years, I have learned to mix and match my wardrobe options. I also own the crinkle gauze skirt which I can easily pair with the tank and tunic when going out for dinner with friends. With four easy pieces in five vibrant colors, I can create my own wardrobe options.

As Cinderella once said, "One shoe can change your life." All the fashionistas at Willow Ridge know that your outfit is not complete without a fabulous shoe. Kim, this slingback, 1/2" wedge sandal is the finishing touch to make your outfit complete.

Stay tuned for the adventures of Barb in New York City.
